The process for the admission to the Doctorate studies depends of each case. Here we describe one of the ways of admission and the process followed to enroll in the doctoral programme:

A. Process for direct admission to the Doctorate:

            • To have followed the Master Integrated Architecture Project (60 ECTS credits).

B. Admissions that require the approval of the “Master and Doctorate Commission of the La Salle Architecture School” are:

            • To have followed the University Master (official) and to be in possession of this qualification.
            • In the old studies plan, to have the DEA approved or to be in possession of the Research Sufficiency diploma.

Admissions Process:
To begin the admissions process in one of these cases you will need to send the following documents in PDF format via email (master_pia@salle.url.edu):

             1. Photocopy of ID or Passport
             2. Photocopy of the Architect qualification
             3. Photocopy of the academic record as proof of having followed the University Master in another University or Photocopy of the DEA or Photocopy of the Research Sufficiency Degree.
             4. Curriculum vitae
             5. Work portfolio

Once you have sent these documents the “Master and Doctorate Commission of La Salle Architecture School” will meet to revise the academic record and approve the admission to the doctoral programme or not. After this date, candidates will be notified about the final decision.

C. The way to admission that requires the approval of the “Universitat Ramon Llull Master and Doctorate Commission”:

            1. To have followed a Master outside Spain which gives access to the Doctorate programme. This does not mean the recognition of the previous qualification, nor the recognition of the Master.

Admission Process:
To begin the admission process send an e-mail to (master_pia@salle.url.edu) with the following documents in PDF format:

            1. Photocopy of ID or Passport
            2. Photocopy of the Architect Degree
            3. Photocopy of the Academic Record
            4. Official letter from the University verifying that the Master gives access to Doctorate in the country it has been followed
            5. Curriculum vitae
            6. Work portfolio

Once these documents have been received, they will be sent to the “Doctorate Commission of the Universitat Ramon LLull” for the approval or not of the admission. After this date you will receive notification of the final decision.
